For couples who are already close

Find out what you both want.

You each answer the same questions on your own, up to 197 of them. The yeses become something to plan. The nos quietly settle what is off the table, so you both stop wondering. Then turn your matches into a night, a month, or a game that nudges you toward something new or back to an old favorite.

Why couples use it

Nothing is revealed alone

A yes only appears when it is mutual. There is no version of this where you are the only one who said something.

Discovery, not confession

Most couples find something the other was interested in all along and never brought up. That is the whole point.

It becomes a plan

Matches turn into a date night, a draw from your five favorites, or a month you are both looking forward to.

The conversation you keep almost having, without having to start it.
What YesList is for

How it works

Four steps, and only one of them involves talking.

  1. STEP 1

    Link with your partner

Share a code, a QR, or a link. One partner at a time, and you can unlink whenever.

  2. STEP 2

    Answer on your own

Rate each prompt honestly and at your own pace. Nobody is watching.

  3. STEP 3

    See where you agree

Once you have both answered the same thing, it unlocks - ranked by how strongly you both feel.

  4. STEP 4

    Turn it into a plan

Spin for a date night, draw from your five favorites, or lay out a whole month.

Best on your phone.

YesList was built as an app first, and that is where it works the way it is meant to - private on a device only you unlock, with a nudge when your partner has answered something new. You can start here on the web and pick up on your phone later; it is the same account either way.

Frequently asked questions

Can my partner see what I said?

Only where you both said the same thing. A no is never shown, and there is no "they declined" state to read between the lines of.

Do I need the app?

No, but it is better. The site covers the same account; the app adds a screen lock and tells you when your partner has answered.

What does it cost?

Nothing. There is no paywall on the app or the website.

How many questions are there?

197 questions across 10 categories, including 105 that are too explicit to show directly in the app. Those live here on the website, and the app sends you over when you reach them.

How is this different from other question apps?

Most stop at the answer. YesList shows you where you match and then gives you something to do with it - games like One Night and One Month turn a shared yes into an actual plan. See how it compares to MojoUpgrade and Spicer.

What can we do with our matches?

Five ways to plan, all built from your list. One Night spins for your best match, or adds a foreplay or romance activity. Monthly Plan builds a custom activity plan from your matches. Pick 5 has you each pick five, then chooses one from the combined list. Partner's Choice lets your partner choose your list while you pick theirs. Talk It Out takes something from your list and guides the conversation.

Who is it for?

Couples who are already together - dating seriously, living together, married - who want an easier way to talk about being close.

Do we both need an account?

Yes. You each answer on your own device, which is what makes a match mean anything. You can start before your partner joins.

Can I delete everything?

Yes, from the app or from this site, and it takes your answers with it.
